I’ve noticed that Haya has been conserned about the world’s view on “Arabs” being “Terrorists”.

“Power corrupts. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.”

I completely agree with this quote. I honestly feel that power is corrupt, and it continues to corrupt anything it takes power of. Anybody can have power, but the most powerful, corrupt thing of all, is government and media. Not only does the government have power over us all, the government has TOO much power. Plus, media effects everyone, Television, radios, the News. Media basically brainwashes us to believe everything they say, but how do we know what the truth is? That’s the thing .. We don’t. I believe this society will continue to be corrupt, and if people start to think outside the box, Media, government etc. will not have that much power on us, this world is too gullable. Power is a stage, and us, the people, or as i like to call us .. the believers are the audience. We applause to everything we hear, or read, and now i am starting to feel that the “audience” is even more corrupt than power. The movie “Zietgieste” really explains this quote, i recommend you all watch it, it really gets you thinking ..

We talked about our poems, and alot about these blogs. We had a chance to read and edit other’s poems. We were also talking about this wonderful young lady named Lindsea, that inspired me to develop a greater blog, and i am looking forward to posting more things that would get people to comment.

I learned that interacting with people, by communication (like blogging) can teach you way more than what you learn in school, and this is not just because i disllike school and the homework, and tests blablabla, although i do feel that communicating with others in variety of ways, you can learn a whole lot more than sitting in a classroom all day.

I daydreamed about … hmm well i don’t really know.

I wanted to say that i agreed with what Mr. R was pointing out to us, about school and how we can learn alot by just meeting new people.

Well let’s see, i eat alot. Believe it or not, although i may seem like a pretty thin, stick-figured person .. I love to take advantage of food. This photo was not taken by me, it was taken by my cousin, she’s a great photographer. She has inspired me to photograph as well, this is just one image i picked out from her flickr, check her flickr out, she has amazing stuff.

We talked about a poem written by - MY. Raisdana explained what the poem meant. He let us share our interests, and what we thought about the poem.

I didn’t really learn anything. Although we did get a taste of how to read poems, to make them sound more deep, to kind of get the reader’s attention.

I daydreamed about what i ws going to do in the weekend.

I wanted to say what i thought about the poem, i thought it was quite a hopefull poem (in my perspective), because i thought that it persuaded people in a negative to make them have a sense in what is going on in the world.

Today in my eighth grade Language Arts class, we’re talking about accomplishing our goals and what we are working towards. At this point i am quite interested in blogging, i think that i can be a little bit more enthusiastic about expressing myself on this blog. ًWe were assigned a few questions to answer.

What do I want to accopplish?

I want to accomplish a better understanding of everything i learn in my Language Arts class, and to grow an interest in blogging, and expressing myself on this blog.

This will be my body or work-what do I want to see here in june?

I want to see a large amount of my work on here.

What am I working towards? How do I envision it now?

I am working towards posting a various amount of my work on here, I see this blog being quite successful with comments etc.
